In recent weeks a decision to close irrigation waters in SE CO has caused some ranch owners to close their operations and unfortunately, to abandon their animals. Tonto is one of those unfortunates, who ended up in a Lost Animal shelter. Represented to PYRescue as a Great Pyrenees, she was accepted at the rescue but has (we believe) turned out to be an Anatolian Shepard. She is about 2-3 years old, in apparant good health. PYRescue could use some help in placing her in good guardian hands or with another, more appropriate reasue.
