Howdy, I am Sir Walter a four-year-old Great Pyrenees that is searching for my family, I am in Pottsboro Texas right now, but I can always come to Colorado so that I can enjoy the cooler weather that I have heard is just fantastic for Great Pyrenees! I am looking for a stable home where I will have lots of love and where I can learn to trust humans again. I was left in a home after my family moved away and, so I decided to leave as well. I lived on the streets for a very long time and never knew where my next meal was coming from. I slept on the streets in the summer and the winter until one day I was brought into a shelter and given some attention. From there I was taken into a rescue where I was given lots of warm healthy food and I after a while I started to feel safe and I even put on some weight. After some time in a foster home I have learned to trust humans a little more especially when they give extra treats and scratch belly! I am not “Pyrfect” but I could be perfect for you. If you would give me chance in a real home with a real family I know that I would blossom into the Beautiful and Majestic Great Pyrenees I am supposed to be. I am good with kids; other dogs and I have seen those little furry creatures called cats, but I have never lived with one.
