Burt belonged to an older man a few years ago who sadly had to go into hospice care and released him to our rescue, he was then adopted in March 2020 and released again because this family couldn't give him what he needed...... Burt is a great dog, not only good looking but very friendly and affectionate. He loves all the attention he can get and would just like to be your lap dog. He has a mellow temperament and loves to go for walks, which he needs desperately because he is overweight. His foster family has increased his endurance from 5 minutes to 20 minutes walks to now. He is great on a leash and loves car rides. Burt also likes to be brushed, all he wants now is a fur-ever home. We think he will do best with a retired person or couple who would like a companion dog. Burt was immediately picked up by our awesome foster parents! A BIG 6 FOOT FENCED YARD/PROPERTY FOR HIM IS A MUST!!! NO APARTMENTS/TOWNHOMES/DUPLEXES OR UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC FENCING!!!!
