Sophie
My name is Sophie. I’m a three year old Pyr, and I’m not going to lie, I’ve had a rough life. I was used by a breeder, and forced to have three litters of puppies in two and a half years. Not long after, these great folks at Pyrescue found me and took me out of that horrible situation, and are giving me a chance at a good life.
I’ve been spayed, have all my shots, I’m chipped, and these great people are working hard to show me what love is, and they’re feeding me very well so that I get back up to a healthy weight. They’re showing me that people really can be good and loving. Hugs and pets feel so amazing! I never knew about those before I came here. I love to snuggle and have attention. I like to play gently. I like older children, and I get along well with other dogs. I haven’t been around cats yet, so I’m not too sure how I feel about them. I’m pretty shy, so I don’t like to play rough. I’m really scared of men. A kind, good man, who can show me love, could teach me that not all men will hurt me.
The people here at Pyrescue keep telling me I deserve to be spoiled. I’m already house trained! I love car rides. I want to snuggle on the couch with you. I want to go for walks. I want to learn how to fetch, and learn about all the amazing, fun toys I can play with. I have a lot of love to give and my biggest wish is to have a quiet home with lots of love, attention, and treats, with people who will love me and let me love them.
